Lumecca IPL is virtually pain-free, but many patients say it feels like a rubber band lightly snapping against their skin.
Each Lumecca IPL session lasts about 10–20 minutes, but session times will vary based on the size of the treatment area.
Each treatment plan is unique to your hair removal goals. Still, a typical course includes 1–3 sessions for optimal results, compared to 5–6 sessions for other IPL treatments.
No downtime is associated with Lumecca IPL sessions; patients can resume daily activities immediately. Some patients may see slight redness in the treated areas that goes away after a few hours.
