Morpheus8 uses a matrix of micropins that perforate the skin from a depth of 1mm to 4mm, depending on the settings and the area of the face we are treating. During a Morpheus8 Face treatment, numbing agents like lidocaine or tumescent are used, so you should barely feel any discomfort.
The length of a session can vary depending on the size of the targeted area, but it usually takes 30 to 60 minutes after a 45-minute numbing period.
The number of treatments needed will depend on your individual goals, but we usually suggest a course of three treatments spaced one month apart. In some cases, one treatment may be enough to achieve the desired results.
Morpheus8 Face has minimal downtime, but you may experience redness and swelling for 1 to 3 days. Some patients choose to take a weekend off during this time.
Results can be visible as early as a week after the first treatment, and they will continue to improve for several months as your skin produces new collagen and elastin.
